Star Citizen Alpha 3.17.2 is right around the corner
On July 17th 2022, Star Citizen Alpha 3.17.2 was released into the open PTU. Which means that the release of this patch in the PU should be in 1 or 2 weeks.
Here are some of the most notable features that Alpha 3.17.2 will be bringing to Star Citizen:
- Planetary Navigation for the AI. NPCs will now be moving around on the surface of planets.
- New point of interest: Derelict Reclaimer
- Dynamic Event: The Siege of Orison
- New Lagrange Points Stations. These stations will also have new hangars that will be added to them instead of only having landing pads.
- New missions: Illegal Delivery missions added.
- Elevators should be faster.
- The Mustang Alpha is getting a functional cargo hold where you can store boxes or even carry someone. This now allows doing delivery missions with the Mustang Alpha. Owners of this starter ship will rejoice.
There are also many bugs that the Alpha 3.17.2 patch will be fixing.
